About Us
Dr. Torine Champion
- Torine Champion has over 20 years of experience in education. She has served others in the following roles: teacher, teacher leader, campus administrator, professional developer, and college professor. Additionally, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, earned a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and her doctorate in Organizational Leadership. Torine decided to further her education by completing certification programs for Reading Specialist, Master Reading Teacher, and the Principalship. Torine has a passion for serving and coaching others to bring out the best in themselves and others. Dr. Champion's research interests include racial equity, diversity, inclusion, belongingness, adult learning, and transformational learning. She is the mother of three daughters. Torine enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with family.
Dr. Tonya Dixon
- Tonya Dixon has been in education for over 20 years in various capacities. She has served as a teacher leader, classroom management and behavior consultant, director, and professional developer. Her outstanding contributions in the educational arena have not gone unnoticed. Tonya was selected as Teacher of the Year, during her time as a classroom teacher, and received many accolades along the way. Tonya has a genuine love for children and a true passion for growing others. Additionally, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. Tonya's research interests include new teacher induction and adult learning. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and trying new recipes, shopping, traveling to tropical destinations, conducting service projects with her church and sorority, and enjoying time with family.
Our Story
- Torine and Tonya met as classroom teachers in the same building. When they became teacher leaders, their friendship continued to grow over their love of helping others and providing professional development. Over the years, they worked in various capacities in education. Torine and Tonya created this educational consulting company and remain committed to serving others.
